Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity

About Us

Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity was created in 2018 by the merging of two affiliates. Rochester Area and Steele-Waseca Area merged together to create one affiliate that serves 5 counties. The merge has allowed the affiliate to grow in the community and help more members in the community.
-Rochester Area: Since 1990 Rochester Area worked to eliminate poverty housing from our area by providing responsible home ownership opportunities in partnership with working families.
-Built or rehabbed over 70 homes in Rochester, Kasson-Mantorville, Pine Island, Stewartville and Dodge Center.
-Hundreds of children are tucked into bed in a safe, secure home every night in homes built by the community through Habitat for Humanity.
-Steele-Waseca Area: Since 1993 Steele-Waseca Area has built 23 homes and remodeled several homes. The affiliate has also helped support community initiatives in Ellendale, New Richland, Medford and Owatonna.
